Let’s call this a third installment part two because it deals with my second favorite X-man, Mystique. Again, I found myself attracted to the character not through the comic but the 90s cartoon, and like Rogue, I am loyal to the outfit she wore in the show. She’s a calculating and devious woman with a wavering allegiance, and yeah, she packs some serious heat. But she had this rarely shown soft side when it came to Rogue, and perhaps that’s why for me, they go hand-in-hand as my favorites. It’s only an added benefit that one’s a powerhouse and the other a gunslinger.

Note: I know I said in my last post “if I have nothing nice to say…” when it came to the movie’s portrayal of Rogue, but concerning Mystique, it can’t contain my seething hatred for that eye-sore of a prickly monstrosity. I’m sorry, but I hate it.

I’d have loved for the OP to add a uncannyxmen.net tag on this post, seeing as she/he basically took all the costume pictures from Mystique’s Sporlight article amd compilled them in the first picture of this photoset without giving any credit to the people at uncannyxmen.net, who work their asses off to create their wonderfull site. So I’m adding them.

I would add uncannyxmen.net as a tag but they too would have had to get their images from somewhere to create what is “an unofficial fan site” - I don’t believe images like the one used in the spotlight are “original content” so what I neglected to add was a marvel tag, which out of courtesy, I will do right now.

Just FYI, they scan and edit every single image that goes into the spotlights and articles.

How do I know? Because I contribute to that site.
